Pecan Street Festival
37th Annual Fall Festival

September 19th & 20th, 2020

Produced by the Pecan Street Association, a 501c4

Now in our 43rd year of the Pecan Street Festival (“PSF”) — with 42 spring fests and 39 fall fests – PLUS our online Pecan Fest Wired substitution for our 2020 Spring fest – under our belt; we plan on bringing Texans our second virtual festival on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19th & 20th, 2020 (11am-10pm Sat./11am-8pm Sun.). See the June 30th announcement.

The PSF is the largest, and longest-running, of Texas’ arts/crafts and music festivals. It draws nearly 300 local and national arts, crafts and food vendors, +/-50 musical acts and a quarter-million attendees during the weekend. PSF is also FREE; the ONLY large-scale festival around that can boast this!

The Pecan Street Association (“PSA”), the non-profit behind the festival, gives back to the community via donations to local non-profits and historical education/preservation of Pecan Street (aka Sixth St.).

In 2021, we will be returning to our traditional layout with booths in the middle of the street come fall (thank you AFD!)

We’ll have a fabulous array of vendors, offering festival-goers pottery, printmaking, pen and acrylic work, paintings of all mediums, hand blown glass, jewelry, assemblage art and online activites for the kids & more.

The Spring Festival music and performing acts are posted here for audiences to support online.

Our featured visual artist will be Fernando Muñoz

In partnership with the City of Austin & The Austin Convention Center, each festival, we host a non-profit – this festival it is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, who needs our support more than ever right now. Mentors are in great need – the public can watch this video to learn how to become a “Big.”
